Separate Xbox One Kinect rumoured to be launching in October

If you’re one of those Xbox One owners who picked the system up without a Kinect, you’ve probably been wondering if you’d ever be able to buy a standalone Kinect.
Now Microsoft is reportedly going to be selling the Xbox One Kinect sensor from October 6.
According to Windows Phone Central, which quotes unnamed sources, the peripheral will be available first in North America, priced at $149.
Microsoft announced plans to drop Kinect as a mandatory Xbox One accessory in May off this year.
Then in June, the company began offering Xbox One without Kinect starting at £349 in the UK and $399 in the US, down from the original price of £425 and $499.
According to Microsoft, North American Xbox One sales in June doubled May’s total.
