Xbox 360 gets a 500GB HDD
Share
Better late than never, Microsoft has announced plans to release a 500GB hard disk drive for Xbox 360.
In a sign of just how far we’ve come, the 360 HDD is being beefed up thanks to all of the content now available digitally – compare this to when the console launched nine years ago when a HDD wasn’t even necessary. (The first Xbox configuration to come with a HDD, the Xbox 360 Pro edition, thought 60GB was enough).
Apparently the new drive will be available for $110 – which is about £66 in real money. We’ll let you know when it hits our shores.
