The news is in the headline folks. At long last we have a release date for the remastered version of Grand Theft Auto 5, that will be coming to PS4, Xbox and later PC.
Rockstar also says that the re-release will see the addition of 100 new songs and DJ mixes on the 17 in-game radio stations. Excellently, players who pre-order will get $1,000,000 of in-game cash to spend on GTA Online.
You can see the new trailer here:
Rockstar is also promising a number of improvements including:
- New activities (including wildlife photography and shooting range challenges);
- New weapons;
- New vehicles (re-introducing ‘classic’ vehicles from earlier games in the series, like the Dodo);
- Additional wildlife;
- Denser traffic;
- New foliage system;
- Enhanced damage and weather effects, and much more.
Though the company has said nothing official about new missions, it has released a bunch of new screenshots that heavily imply new single player missions: Why else would Trevor be flying a fighter jet?
We can’t wait.
