PS4 passes one million sales in just the UK
Sony has announced that the PS4 has now sold over one million units in the UK alone. In a suspiciously neat coincidence, apparently the millionth unit was sold alongside Destiny – which is out today.
The company has also released a bunch of stats on social sharing: Apparently over half a million screenshots have been shared on Facebook and Twitter using the “Share” button and and there have been over 1.2m broadcast sessions totally over 700,000 hours too.
Unfortunately we don’t have any numbers for the Xbox One in the UK alone, but at last count worldwide the PS4 was on ten million and XBO on five. Presumably we would have got a press release about big numbers if Microsoft were doing as well – so it appears the One has some catching up to do.
