Assassin’s Creed Unity goes to… World War II?!
Ubisoft has just dropped the latest trailer for Assassin’s Creed: Unity and it appears to show the series going a little more modern…
The “Time Anomoly” trailer shows hero Arnaud jumping through a hole in the French Revolution simulation and ending up scaling the Eiffel Tower, which has been emblazoned with a “V” and is surrounded by airships.
What the heck? Somehow he has ended up in WWII Paris – when the Nazis occupied the city the emblazoned the tower with a big “V”.
It’ll be intriguing to see how this is incorporated into the game: Will there be just a short WWII sequence? Could it be the equivalent of the Abstergo future segments in the previous games in the series? Could it be something more substantial? I guess we’ll find out in a couple of weeks.
