Google Now can search within apps… now!

Google’s latest update to its Android Google Now app has just made things ever clever: It can trigger searches within apps.
In a post on the Android Developers Blog, the example is given of voice searching “Ok Google, search pizza on Eat24” or “Ok Google, search for hotels in Maui on TripAdvisor.”. Then rather than trigger a search page, Google Now will load up the app and trigger the search.
It could be particularly useful for users who have Google Now enabled to work across their whole phone – whether you’re in Google’s app or not.
This comes just days after a bizarre press trip to showcase what Google can do.
