The UK top 10 video games chart: FIFA top of the table again
FIFA 15 holds on to the No.1 spot for a fifth consecutive week, the most of any title so far this year. EA titles have been at No.1 for 18 out of the 43 weeks so far in 2014, while for the whole of 2013 they only managed a total of 10 weeks.
Sales of Minecraft: PlayStation Edition jumped an impressive 82%, boosted by strong sales of the PS4 version – pushing it from No.9 to No.2. As a result, The Evil Within slipped one place to No.3, ahead of Destiny which moves up three places to No.4.
Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor drops one place to No.5 ahead of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel which suffers a 62% fall in sales after its second week on release.
There are four new Top 40 titles this week, but only one makes the Top 10 – Nintendo’s Wii U exclusive Bayonetta 2, debuting at No.7.
