Huawei Ascend P7
Huawei’s flagship phone is an impressive piece of kit. Here’s why Jay Karsandas, marketing Manager at Mobiles.co.uk reckons that it is good for selfies:
With an 8 megapixel front-facing camera, the Huawei P7 is one of the best selfie cameras on the market. Enhanced by a Blue Glass infared sensor, the P7 neatens photo clarity and avoids object deformation, creating selfies which burst with colour. Play around with the innovative Panorama Selfie feature which allows spectacular self-portaits including every detail of the world around you. You can even use the Creative Photo Editing feature to elevate them to the next level. With plenty of filters, personalised watermarks and audio tagging, smartphone selfies have never been so fun.

HTC One M8
HTC’s flagship phone is perhaps most well known for the camera on the rear: In fact, there’s two, one for shooting the photo and the other to help the camera figure out depth so it can fine tune the focusing. But the front-facing camera and its features shouldn’t be overlooked either.
Here’s Jay Karsandas again:

You can also play around with fantastic photo effects such as Touch Up which allows Photoshop-esque editing of selfies allowing you to smooth a person’s skin, contour their face, remove red eye, alter the shape of their eyes and get rid of pesky shine. Other features include Instagram-like filters and frames and a countdown timer to perfect your smile if needs be.
Nokia Lumia 735
And Jay also suggested we take a look at the Lumia 735 – which would make a good budget option:
[/nextpage] [nextpage title=”Next”]Offering a fantastic 5 megapixel front facing camera, the upcoming Nokia Lumia 735 is a great budget release for those who love a selfie. It also packs in full HD technology to make your self-portraits as sharp as ever and with a wide lens on board, you can squeeze more into each shot. Nokia have even created its own Selfie App which includes face-recognition and the ability to edit your photos effortlessly, make your face slimmer, eyes wider or teeth whiter!
LG G3
Stacey from eBuyer really likes the LG G3 (we did too!):
[/nextpage] [nextpage title=”Next”] HTC Desire EYEI wanted to put forward the LG G3 Smartphone: http://www.ebuyer.com/645056-lg-g3-smartphone-metallic-black-lgd855-a6gbtn It features a 2.1MP selfie camera with a dual LED flash, Laser Auto Focus and OIS+. The front facing camera is activated by a simple gesture and features Geo-tagging, face detection and HDR.
And finally, what about the Desire EYE itself. Though it won’t be available until November, on paper at least it seems to blow the competition out of the water for selfies: Sporting a 13MP camera on the rear… and a 13MP camera on the front too. More specifically it supports auto-focus with zoom capability, BSI sensor, f/2.2, 22mm lens, wide angle, and has HDR capability. It can also shoot 1080p video at 30fps and has a dual-LED Flash.
HTC is also bundling in a bunch of other camera apps: HTC Eye Experience with Face Tracking, Screen Share, Split Capture, Face Fusion, Live Makeup, Auto Selfie, Voice Selfie, Photo Booth, and Crop Me In.
So if you want a selfie phone, this could be the one to get.
