A new Tony Hawk game for consoles is in the works!
Excellent news for bad-ass skate dudes. The man himself Tony Hawk has tweeted that Activision is working on a new game for consoles – the first new game in five years.
Here’s the tweet:
I’m currently working with Activision on a console game for 2015 (along with a new mobile game). I think fans of THPS series will be hyped.

Sadly we don’t know anything more than this at the moment – but the reference to the original game, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, is encouraging – as the series is widely believed to have been at its best in the original three games – before all of the nonsense peripherals were introduced later.
We saw saw Hawk on consoles a couple of years ago when Pro Skater was remade in HD for Xbox 360 and PS3 – and incorporated levels from the first three games in the series.
