EE TV is now available in shops

We’ve been intrigued by EE TV since it was announced. The new service combines a Freeview box, DVR and on-demand services – and will even preemptively record your six favourite channels so you can catch up on the last 24 hours at the touch of a button. And today it is finally available in EE shops.
The EE TV Smart Box is free to EE mobile customers who also have EE home broadband (and pay at least £9.95/month for it), and EE claims that the box is worth £300. To promote the launch, as you can see above, EE paid some people from Googlebox to have their photo taken whilst pretending to watch TV… in portrait mode.
