Army to use Oculus Rift as a recruiting tool

Call of Duty just got a little bit more real.
According to ITV News, the British Army will today be using an Oculus Rift “experience” at recruitment events in London and Manchester today.
The “experience” – presumably some sort of 360-degree video, will show users what it is like on a live fire exercise on Salisbury Plain, in which the user sits inside a Challenge 2 tank.
The Army also says it will be adding more “experiences” in the future, as it presumably doesn’t see anything wrong with using shiny toys to encourage people to fight.
