“Jack” wifi guitar cables will give your guitar a wifi boost

Finally, no amp can stop you from really going for it when playing guitar – thanks to a new product called Jack, which uses wifi to connect your guitar to your amp – or even your computer.
You’ll need two devices: One to plug into the jack socket on your guitar, and the other to plug into the amp, but it doesn’t need a router or any other kit – that will be enough to create the connection. Apparently it will transmit at 24 bit studio quality with “ultra low latency” – which is said to be 13 times faster than the equivalent bluetooth connection.
What’s also pretty cool is that there is also Jack software available for your computer – so you can use it to record your tunes too. Brilliant.
Jack (inevitably) launches on Kickstarter today.
