Samsung Galaxy A5 and A3 coming to O2 in the UK in February
O2 has announced that it will be launching the Samsung Galaxy A5 and A3 on its network in February. The new phones are mid-range by Samsung standards, but have slick metal exteriors.
Here’s how O2 describes the launch:
“The A5 handset, available in Midnight Black and Pearl White, has a 5” SuperAMOLED compact screen with adaptive display for better viewing in bright sunlight, a 13MP rear facing camera and an ultra-power saving mode. The A3 has the 4.5” adaptive display, 8PM rear camera and is available in a third colour, Platinum Silver, which is exclusive to O2.
For users chasing the perfect selfie, the smartphones boast advanced 5MP front-facing cameras and include features such as Wide Selfie, Palm Selfie, Animated GIF, Beauty Face Features, and Rear-cam Selfie. Uploading photos and video to social media is quicker than ever with the device’s fast network speed of LTE Category 4 standard.
Music lovers will also receive a free six month subscription to Deezer while those looking to get fit will have access to fitness app, Edomondo for six months. Both devices are also great for users on the move as the A5 and A3 feature adjustable audio, which adapts and enhances sound output based on the user’s surroundings.”
Both phones will be available on the O2 Refresh tariff from next month.
