Samsung officially announces Galaxy A7 phablet

Better late than never! We were expecting it at CES last week, but Samsung waited until last night to officially announce the Galaxy A7 on its blog.
The A7 is a 5.5″ phablet in the mould of the smaller A3 and A5 – the “A” line being Samsung’s attempt at creating attractive metal-coated handsets, with a more premium feel than the likes of the plastic Galaxy S5.
Spec-wise it isn’t too bad either, sporting dual 1.8GHz Quad-Core and 1.3GHz Quad-Core processors, 2GB of RAM and a full HD screen. The rear camera is 13MP, and the front camera is 5MP and capable of ultra wide shots.
We’ll let you know when it is available over here.
