Seattle Seahawks win causes an EARTHQUAKE

We can’t claim to understand this weird American egg-ball game, but we can appreciate the reaction. Last night when the Seattle Seahawks beat the Green Bay Packers by 28 to 22, the fan reaction literally caused an earthquake in the stadium.
The Pacific Northwest Seismic Network has placed seismographs around the stadium and recorded the reaction when the final whistle was blown – as you can see above. The reason the instruments were there in the first place is to help scientists study seismic activity, on the basis that it is easier to predict ‘earthquakes’ when it is people causing them, than predicting real movements of the earth’s tectonic plates.
