The UK Top 10 video games chart: GTA V still reigns supreme
Grand Theft Auto V holds on to No.1 for a third consecutive week. Rockstar/Take 2’s blockbuster has now notched up a total of seven weeks at No.1 which is more weeks on top than any other GTA title.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and FIFA 15 swap places with Activision Blizzard’s title up one place to No.2 and FIFA 15 dropping one place to No.3.
Deep Silver/Koch’s new release Saints Row IV Re-Elected / Gat Out of Hell debuts at No.4. It is the chart-topper’s first appearance on PS4 and Xbox One and comes bundled with the new stand-alone expansion.
A big retailer promotion on Call of Duty: Ghosts helps boost sales by 401%, propelling it back into the Top 10, up from No.30 to No.5.
Far Cry 4 slips two places to No.6, ahead of Minecraft: Xbox Edition, which is also down two places at No.7.
Like the Xbox Edition, sales of Minecraft: Playstation Edition remain reasonably stable, down only 3%, as it also drops two places to No.9.
Rugby 15 from Big Ben/Koch debuts at No.8, while Ubisoft’s The Crew falls four places to No.10.
