LG reveals its own VR headset

Not wanting to be left out, LG has announced its own virtual reality headset, called “VR for G3”, which will be offered free to buyers of its G3 phone.
TechSpot reports that the company has been working with Google and as far as we can tell, the new headset is essentially a more durable, plastic version of Google Cardboard – Google’s fold-your-own VR headset, which comes with two lenses that enable you to see 3D images on a mounted phone.
We’re not sure if/when it’ll be coming to the UK, but we’ll let you know if we hear anything.
