The UK Top 10 video games chart: CoD Advanced Warfare holds its own
The top three remain unchanged this week, meaning Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has now claimed eight weeks at No.1, equalling the total of FIFA 15.
Both Grand Theft Auto V and FIFA 15 hold on to No.2 and No.3 respectively, while Assassin’s Creed: Unity jumps four places up to No.4 thanks to several retailers promoting the PS4 version.
A non-mover at No.5, Minecraft: Xbox Edition remains ahead of the PlayStation Edition which manages to climb three places to No.6, despite a 6% drop in sales.
Destiny also jumps three places up the chart, moving back up to No.7, its highest position since the first week of the year.
Call of Duty: Ghosts slips one place to No.8, but still manages to leapfrog Far Cry 4 which falls three places to No.9.
Ubisoft returns to having three games in the Top 10 this week as The Crew rejoins Far Cry and Assassin’s Creed in the Top 10, sneaking up one place from No.11.
No new titles break into the Top 40, but next week will see the launch of the highly anticipated Evolve from 2K Games and the release of Nintendo’s New 3DS XL console.
