Android 5.1 to stop connecting to crappy wifi

Have you ever connected to a wifi network, only to find it won’t actually load anything? Brilliantly, this is a problem that Google is planning to fix in a forthcoming update to Android.
According to Android Police, version 5.1 of the mobile operating system will remember what wifi networks it has connected to only to find there is no connection – and will no longer auto-connect to it again.
As Android Police notes, this follows the news that on 5.1 you’ll also be able to toggle wifi and mobile data on and off from the lock screen too.
