Fitbit adds bike mode to Fitbit Surge
Share
Health tracker Fitbit has added bicycle tracking to its top-end Surge wearable.
Using the GPS on board the Surge, it will track your bike journeys and give you the ability to look back at your route on a map in the Fitbit app. Clearly Fitbit is gunning for the likes of Strava that does what Fitbit does, but for bikes – complete with built in social network.
The company has also announced that it will soon be rolling out support for multiple trackers on one account. Meaning that you can switch from your Fitbit Flex, which you wear at the office, to your Fitbit Surge for when you go for a run after work – and have the data syncronise to the same Fitbit account.

Any word on if bike mode will be coming to the Charge HR? Or any word on fitbit strava integration?
