Ikea launch wireless charging furniture

IKEA has announced a bunch of new products for the home which all come with a built in wireless charger for your phone – brilliant!
The range, called “Home Smart” includes bedside tables, floor lamps and desk lamps, as well as charging pads that can added to other furniture. Being IKEA, it has of course named the charging device itself “JYSSEN”.
What’s important to note is that the chargers all work with the increasingly dominant Qi wireless charging standard – that’s the one found in the likes of Google’s Nexus phones. Adapters can be bought for non-wireless charging phones too.
The new furniture should be available at IKEA from mid-April, and will apparently start at £30.
