This isn’t like any exercise bike I’ve ever seen or used (most of the seemed to get chucked out on the street after six months). Available in red or black, The Ciclotte Tonino Lamborghini is a designer model that will set you back a whopping €10,490 excluding VAT and delivery (you definitely won’t want to be leaving this one out for the scrap metal merchants). However, it does include a load of accessories suitable for an iPad or iPhone.
Encapsulating the spirit of Italian culture, the Ciclotte Tonino Lamborghini features the iconic ‘bull’ symbol, illustrious brand colours and shield. It is made from a carbon and steel frame complete with carbon fibre and adjustable bulls’ horns handlebars.
The state-of-the-art design which is, claims the manufacturer, reminiscent of a 19thcentury monocycle wheel, works exclusively through its distinctive central powerhouse. A concentrated magnetic field is generated using a copper ring which is rotated at a high speed in front of six strength magnets. These magnets can be adjusted, tailoring the bikes resistance level to your bespoke needs. Ciclotte has been designed to faithfully reproduce the dynamics and performance of on-road cycling and, claims the manufacturer, is the ideal tool for high intensity aerobic training.
Ciclotte has also introduced a model boasting over 500 Swarovski Zirconia or Gemstones. Completing its dynamic silhouette, the gemstones provide that extra step into style. The Ciclotte is available in its standard model, Steel Model or Marine model in a choice of colours.
