Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima seems to have left Konami
Shock news this afternoon as it has emerged that Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima appears to have parted company with Konami, which publishes the stealth game.
At the moment, details are unconfirmed by Konami sounds rather frosty, saying that “Konami Digital Entertainment, including Mr. Kojima, will continue to develop and support Metal Gear products. Please look forward to future announcements.”
Rumours have further intensified after this guy on Reddit spotted that all mentions of the legendary developer have been erased from the MGS website.
Kojima himself tweeted this vaguely cryptic image earlier this week:
Heading off.

We’ve not yet received confirmation that this is how Kojima left Konami headquarters:
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is currently in development for PS4 and Xbox One.
