Nest thermostats fail to update with the switch to BST

Whoops! If we’re on the verge of the rise of the machines or the creation of the Matrix, the machines need to learn to do things on time. Users of Google’s Nest thermostat are complaining that when the clocks changed on Sunday, their Nest settings didn’t change with it.
According to The Inquirer, British users have been complaining that users with a manual schedule are impacted – despite the so-called ‘smart’ device knowing that users are in Britain, and Google presumably knowing that the clocks are going forward an hour.
Without having done a scientific survey, we haven’t seen any reports of any other thermostats or internet of things devices missing the change – your author’s Tado worked just fine.
