Spotify launches on PS4 and PS3 in the UK

Today’s the day: Streaming music service Spotify has launched on Sony’s games consoles.

Spotify for Playstation gives Spotify Premium subscribers the ability to listen to tracks and playlists on the PS4 – which could be a straightforward way to get your tunes on the living room speakers.

On PS4, the app runs in the background, even when you’re not in the Spotify app, meaning that you can even listen to music whilst playing certain games.

The app is available now in the Playstation Store.
