Now you have to spend £20 on Amazon UK to get free delivery

Bad news for Amazon customers who haven’t paid up for Amazon Prime. The company has announced that the minimum spend for delivery has now been increased from £10 to £20.
According to Engadget the changes come into effect at 6pm this evening. Amazon Prime customers are obviously unaffected – with free one-day delivery being a major part of the Prime offer. Presumably the hike in rates for lesser mortals is to incentivise more people into taking up Prime.
