YouTube could soon be looking a little different, if you watch on your computer or on an iPhone.
According to MacRumours, the YouTube iPhone app will soon be getting a redesign to fit in with Google’s “Material” design philosophy – so everything will soon look a bit flatter, with more blocks of colour.
Meanwhile on the desktop, according to the unofficial Google Operating System blog, the HTML5 player will be getting a redesign. Gone will be the black bar at the bottom – and instead the play/pause/etc controls will be only be displayed when you hover over the video… and pretty slick it looks too.
