After an initial delay, Samsung announces the BD-P1500 Blu-ray player will launch in June
Originally scheduled for a May release, the BD-P1500 has just been handed a June birthdate from Samsung, after being announced at CES earlier in the year.
Priced at around $399 in the US by the looks of things, the player will be Blu-ray Profile 1.1 and Dolby TrueHD audio compatible, and output at 1080p resolution. Potential firmware upgrades via the Ethernet and USB ports will allow for BD-Live 2.0 and DTS-HD HR support, according to reports, but sadly not DTS-HD Master…

LG's Black Label series mobile announced – the Secret KF750
After months of secrecy, we finally have confirmation about the new LG Black Label series handset, and whaddya know, it’s called ‘Secret’, or the KF750 to you and I.
Believe it or not, this handset wasn’t exactly secret, as we first heard of the KF750 back in March, along with the specs! Still, it’s bound to follow the success of other Black Label series phones, the Chocolate and Shine, with a carbon fibre profile of just 11.8mm, a camera with 5.0-megapixel sensor, and can take video at 120fps, with DivX certified recording. In addition to this, you can edit photos…
Dribbling over a non-Sony OLED TV? Samsung says just wait until 2009!
Samsung showed off a 40″ OLED TV at CES in January, however it’s taken until now for them to announce they’ll be available commercially as of 2009.
They’ve supposedly started producing the panels already – 1.5 million of them – however that number will reach 3 million in 2009, and 6 million in 2010. If they enter the market next year with OLED panels, they’ll be joining Sony…

It’s not often you hear the words ‘desktop PC’ and ‘sexy’ side by side, unless you’re referring to an iMac, but by gosh – look at this Dell!
And it’s not often you hear ‘Dell’ and ‘sexy’ said next to each other, either. Want more to like about it? Well for starters, it consumes 70% less energy than the average desktop PC, with the mini tower being 81% smaller to boot, as well. Shipped in recycled…

Archos is holding a launch event in London this afternoon, however I think we’ve discovered ahead of time what they’re announcing, due to all the US blogs reporting on…the new GPS In-Car Holder for the 605 WiFi!

Five of the best ASUS Eee PC rivals, plus all the news on rumoured Eee models…
Last year, the Eee PC from ASUS launched, cementing sub-10″ ‘budget’ notebooks in the history pages forever, as other major manufacturers scrambled to keep up with their phenomenal success. Even the gadget-models at I4U News snuggled it into their boobage, as you can see!
ASUS is keeping ahead of the game, with several models already released, and more out shortly. There’s the original 7″ 4G Eee, which had a 4GB flash drive and cost £219, the French model with integrated HSDPA, a touch-screen model with boosted internal storage, and the 8.9″ Eee 900 which also has an increased memory and storage, and importantly the option of Windows XP instead of the Linux OS. Not forgetting that strange report from a few weeks ago about a desktop Eee…
There are still rumours flying around about more models, with June pointed at as a likely month for them to launch an Atom-powered machine, instead of containing a Celereon processor like before. This will give it a longer battery life, and improved performance. A 10″ model is also being planned, according to ASUS, which will hopefully be out later this year.
In the meantime, let’s take a look at the various Eee PC bandwagon-jumpers, below…
Work off those Whopper calories by twiddling your thumbs on a Burger King mobile game
Burger King. Mobile game. Burger King. Mobile game. No, no matter how many times I repeat it in my head, I still can’t work out why someone would pay $2.99 a month in subscription fees for the ‘game’.
For the same price as a Whopper per month, mobile gamers can participate in puzzle, arcade, trading and action-type games in the US, with “automatic…
