CES 2008: Creative launches Zen Stone and Zen Stone Plus MP3 boomboxes
Creative has launched new versions of its Zen Stone and Zen Stone Plus MP3 players, turning them into boomboxes by adding a built-in speaker. The Zen Stone will come in 1GB and 2GB models, while the Zen Stone Plus (pictured) will come in 2GB and 4GB flavours.

Internet fridges, they’re THE FUTURE! Maybe. Or not. However cynical you are about connected kitchens, you can’t deny that Whirlpool is putting a lot of effort into the idea, with its centralpark technology. CES 2008: Sennheiser debuts Professional IE 6, IE 7 and IE 8 headphones
IE just makes me think of Internet Explorer, but thankfully Sennheiser haven’t been mad enough to make a set of headphones with a built-in browser. Not yet, anyway. Instead, the IE 6, IE 7 and IE 8 make up the company’s new ‘Professional’ series, copping aural technology from the professional ‘phones that bands wear on stage.

Okay, so calling something 2.1 doesn’t exactly make it sound like a revolution, but anyway. Pick of gaming furniture maker Pyramat’s new CES products is the PC Gaming Chair 2.1, which gives you a comfy seat surrounded by all manner of audio goodness.
CES 2008: OQO shows off WiMAX-enabled Model O2 UMPC
We caught up with OQO at last year’s CES – it’s the grand old inventor of the UMPC market. At least, that’s what they say. Anyway, OQO is showing off a WiMAX-enabled version of its Model 02 UMPC at CES this year, in partnership with US telco Sprint, which is rolling out the Xohm WiMAX network.
