Freecom launches Wireless Network MediaPlayer with 500GB of storage
Freecom has launched the Network MediaPlayer 350 WLAN featuring up to 500GB of storage, and aimed at the consumer with a lot of digital content to share between various devices on a wireless home network.
Featuring a 3.5-inch hard drive, the MediaPlayer is PC and Mac compatible, and can be connected directly to a TV using a HD-DVI or video connection, and to a hi-fi using its standard audio outputs.

LINDY launches NAS enclosure matching Mac Mini
LINDY has launched its latest enclosure designed to complement and sit underneath a Mac Mini, but usable by any home network configuration. It’s a NAS (Network-Attached Storage) device which is compatible with standard 3.5-inch ATA hard drives (which you supply yourself).
It features a built-in FTP (file transfer) server allowing up to five consecutive users on a network connect, plus support for Samba server, and a password-protected browser-based user interface to allow configuration.
