Make like James Bond with these Double Agent headphones from Skullcandy
Whilst I can’t see Krycek from X-Files, James Bond or other famous double agents donning these Skullcandy headphones, I could see Sydney Bristow from Alias wearing them on a day off.
With three colour ways (orange, green and black), any espionage hopeful can carry out their acts of secrecy with the Double Agent models, which contain an inbuilt SD card reader. You guessed right – that means you don’t have to connect…
Dr. Dre lends his hand at designing 'Beats' headphones with Monster
The company best known for its high-quality HDMI cables has dallied with headphones once again, after we saw the iFreePlay ‘phones mid-last year that docked your iPod Shuffle when on the go.
These over-ear cans pictured are their latest venture, made in collaboration with music moguls Dr. Dre and Interscope Chairman Jimmy Iovine.
Dubbed ‘Beats’, the headphones have been in development for two years and will be available in the US for $399.95 as of June, with no word yet on worldwide availability.

Denon intros AH-C751 upgraded high-end earphones
Denon continues to push the high-end audio market, with the news that they’ve refined their best in-ear earphones, replacing the current AH-C700 model with the new AH-C751.
The earphones feature an all metal construction (dubbed “metal bullet”), using rigid machined aluminium for their canal-type design that brings sound directly into the ear.
Sennheiser launches PC 350 high-end gaming headset
Sennheiser has announced their new PC 350 gaming headset, claiming to give the most accurate sound positioning and finest sound quality available in the gaming market.
This round-the-ear, closed headset passively shuts out external noises, and features special shaping of the frequency response which improves the wearer’s ability to detect where a sound is coming from. This should significantly improve reaction times.
CES 2008: Sennheiser debuts Professional headphones for easier listening
Not endorsed by Microsoft, Sennheiser has dropped three new pairs of in-ear headphones, the IE 6, IE 7 and IE 8, part of their ‘Professional’ range. Professional as in, what musicians wear onstage at concerts, not what businessmen wear in conferences. Although I’m betting all the Blu-ray fanboiz were wishing they’d had a pair yesterday when listening to Toshiba’s HD DVD onslaught.
Using dynamic transducers, they cover the entire frequency range with one system, and separate different parts of whatever music you’re listen to, thus eliminating distortion. All three have Kevlar-strenghened cables, and a choice of earbuds to ensure a snug fit…
CES 2008: Sennheiser debuts Professional IE 6, IE 7 and IE 8 headphones
IE just makes me think of Internet Explorer, but thankfully Sennheiser haven’t been mad enough to make a set of headphones with a built-in browser. Not yet, anyway. Instead, the IE 6, IE 7 and IE 8 make up the company’s new ‘Professional’ series, copping aural technology from the professional ‘phones that bands wear on stage.
Shiny Review: Sennheiser PXC 350 noise-cancelling headphones
Susi is off my Christmas card list this year. Want to know why? Not only did she recently go on holiday to Cambodia, but she also got to test out these noise-cancelling ‘phones from…
Sennheiser headphones are unmasked as HD-25s with CrystalRoc bling
Well that’s one mystery taken care of, then. Shiny Shiny has excelled itself today, solving the riddle of the unnamed Sennheiser headphones that were shown on the site last week.
They’re designed by the same company who jazzed-up Rihanna’s microphone with Swarovski crystals and 24…
Pink amethyst crystal-encrusted Swarovski Fashion Rocks headphones, for the chav within
If you’re a Londoner, you probably caught wind of the 2007 Swarovski Fashion Rocks event which was held the other week, in fact, you would’ve read reports in the London rags, of the twiglet Kate Moss and cowboy-booted Johnny ‘Jozza Bozza’ Borrell being naughty and smoking during the proceedings.
One of the products created to commemorate the event were these luxury DJ headphones, which are encrusted in…
