Interview: VoIP firm Jajah on T-Mobile investment and ad-funded VoIP prospects
Voice-over-IP firm Jajah is experimenting with advertising-funded models that could mean free telephony in the future. Although most VoIP services offer free calls now, they’re usually only to other users of that service, with calls to landlines or mobiles being charged – albeit at a lower rate than non-VoIP telephony.

It might look something like this. Designer Ye Chen is responsible for the concept product, which sadly isn’t actually being made by Nikon. Not yet, anyway. He’s billed it as the Coolpix 360, with the big innovation being a rotating head that would allow you to take full 360-degree photos.
Toshiba unveils its in-car HD DVD player
Toshiba has got together with Alpine Electronics to develop an HD DVD player for use in cars. It was shown off at last week’s Automotive Engineering Expo 2007, and should become a commercial product in 2008.

Charging to access MySpace's WAP site? Is Vodafone crazy?
