Hulger channels the 1920s with their Sophia VoIP handsets

Unfortunately the ’20s-era phone is being sold in a limited edition number of ten, and cost a whopping $215 each. But if you can hunt one down (try eBay if they’re all sold out), you’ll experience full Bluetooth…

Motorola unveils T505 Bluetooth in-car speakerphone and digital FM transmitter

Motorola has unveiled its T505 portable in-car Bluetooth speakerphone and digital FM transmitter, offering full hands-free compatibility with Bluetooth phones or MP3 players.

Stereo Bluetooth phones, such as the MOTORAZR or MOTOROKR Z6 will allow music and calls to be streamed to the car radio, while users with ordinary Bluetooth phones can use the T505 to make and receive calls over the car stereo.

The T505 features StationFinder technology which announces where the best FM connection can be found on the user’s car radio. When calls come in, the T505 automatically mutes the music and audibly announces the Caller ID.

Hug Shirt from CuteCircuit allows you to send hugs via Bluetooth

hugshirt4.jpg Bluetooth accessories for mobiles tend to revolve around Nathan Barley-esque headsets or dinky little speakers, so it’s refreshing to see a company like CuteCircuit thinking outside the box.

They’ve designed a product called Hug Shirt which pretty much does what it says on the label, with the Bluetooth sensors and actuators attached to the shirt allowing you to send a hug to a friend who’s also wearing the shirt.
