Yeah those ones. Well, we’d mightily appreciate a copy of that there game you’re selling… That’s it, Rock Band. Pretty please?
But apparently Harmonix ain’t selling. While Rock Band’s debut outside North America is no longer expected until around September time, the developer is merrily gearing up for the Wii version’s release on June 22nd…
Europe to get exclusive Rock Band tracks?
At the recent Play.com event at Wembley Stadium, EA was out in full force gearing up for its better-late-than-never release of Rock Band on this side of the pond. And it seems that we’re going to earn something for all our patience: an exclusive list of playable tracks.
Apple reveals gaming plans – Monkey Ball and Spore spearheading iPhone games push
Shown off last night at the iPhone SDK unveiling, here’s a look at SEGA’s legendary Monkey Ball running on iPhone. And running really bloody well by the looks of it.
Monkey Ball uses the iPhone’s accelerometer to detect movements, so, just like in the Wii version, you’ll be able to steer your little monkey around by moving your hands from side to side.

There’s always been a musical element to The Sims, with a succession of stars signing up to appear in different spin-offs (think Lily Allen performing ‘Smile’ in Simlish). Now publisher EA is launching a Sims-themed karaoke site called The Sims On Stage.
Basically, it’ll let you login and upload your caterwauling singing for the community to rate, as well as creating your own mash-up videos using Sims footage. The site will have thousands of licensed rock, pop and country songs to sing along to from launch.
Is EA bottling out of Mac games?
One of the big stories of Apple’s World Wide Developers’ Conference back in June was that EA would bring out its major games on the Mac.
However, two months on and it seems as if Electronic Arts may have gone a little cold on the idea.
Madden NFL 08 came out on most devices, but was a no-show on the Mac.
