Humax release PVR-9200TB: Freeview Playback dual tuner PVR
Humax has once again upgraded its PVR-9200T Freeview PVR, this time renaming it as the PVR-9200TB.
It claims to be one of the first Freeview Playback digital TV recorders on the market, sporting a 160GB hard drive, and comes with a number of nifty features including schedule tracking and auto-buffering.
It has two tuners, enabling two shows to be recorded, or one to be recorded while another is being watched live. Recording and scheduling is handled via the eight-day Electronic Programme Guide.

ViaMichelin launch X960 and X970T personal navigation devices
ViaMichelin has unveiled its new X960 and X970T personal satellite navigation systems. They’re compact devices, with the X960 weighing in at 136g.
As well as offering simple directions, they can also be loaded up with downloadable POI (Point of Interest) packs which can guide the user around interesting sites in the locality.
In addition, the X970T features free real time traffic information and a Bluetooth hands free function allowing incoming phone calls to be answered by touching the screen.

Hauppauge has announced that its WinTV digital TV sticks can now be used on a Mac, thanks to new EyeTV software available from Elgato Systems.
The new software means Hauppauge’s range of Freeview and hybrid USB tuners will work on both PCs and Macs, giving live TV and PVR functionality to both sets of owners.
