SHINY VIDEO REVIEW: BlackBerry Flip 8220
Here’s Susi’s take on the BlackBerry Flip. On the one hand, it has Wi-Fi and 3.5mm headphone jack. On the other, however, it has just a 2 megapixel camera. Oh, and it’s a flip phone. Which was cool sometime around 1998. For more details, check out Susi’s video above.

N96 Bruce Lee edition – enter the handset
Yes, you read that right. Bruce Lee edition. If you didn’t think the N96 could be any cooler, then you’ve got a problem, because it’s not exactly the coolest handset around, but it has just got a smidgen cooler, thanks to this launch. Sadly, it’s Hong Kong only so far.
The handset comes with Lee’s trademark glare on the back cover, as well as a bunch of accessories and a Bruce Lee doll. Several rare photos of the actor are stored on the phone’s memory. It costs 8,788 Chinese Yuan (£870!), and you’ll need to know some Chinese to buy it.

SHINY VIDEO REVIEW: BlackBerry Storm Part One
Here’s Susi’s initial thoughts on the Blackberry Storm. On the model we got sent, there’s a bug with the browser, so we can’t give it a proper proper review until that’s fixed, but in the interests of keeping you lot as informed as possible, Susi filmed some thoughts on the build of the handset, and her initial impressions.

IcePhone – concept mobile with triple-flip
This is pinteresting- a concept mobile phone from a company called “The Medical Phone Ltd”. It’s a triple-flip device complete with touchscreen, QWERTY keyboard, and a third ‘function panel’. It runs Windows Mobile and features GPS, A 3.1 megapixel camera, and Wi-Fi. It runs Windows Mobile 6.0, and features ‘ctrl-alt-delete’ functionality, appararently, which seems a rather strange feature to highlight.
The IcePhone began life as a medical/survival device, and it still retains some of that functionality. There’s one-button access to call 999, your nearest hospital and your doctor simultaneously. It’ll be available in Thailand ‘soon’, but they reckon they’ll have it out in the UK before May next year. The bad news? It’ll be retailing at £670 or so. Pricy.

3's "INQ1" Facebook phone details confirmed
At a launch event this morning in Shoreditch, 3 unveiled its “INQ1” Facebook phone, which we wrote about just over a week ago. It’s basically a phone that has massive Facebook integration, as well as integration with Skype, Windows Live Messenger and Last.fm.
WIth more and more people using their phones for their social networking needs, 3 wanted a handset with that functionality at its very core. The device pushes Facebook news feed updates to the home screen of your phone, and the contact book is being described as ‘live’, where friends’ Facebook profile pictures show up next to their contact details…
LG KF300 launches on Orange
Up there is the LG KF300, which is launching today on Orange. It’s a flip phone, but it’s only 16.2 mm thick, which I’m sure you’ll agree is rather on the anorexic side. It’s got an extra-large keypad, and dedicated hotkeys for features like the phonebook, message inbox, calendar and alarm clock.
Specs-wise, there’s a paltry 14MB of internal memory, but support for upto 2GB of microSD card-age. It also has a 2 megapixel camera, 2.2″ screen, stereo Bluetooth, and FM radio. It’ll play MP3s, like just about every phone ever, but there’s no sign of a 3.5″ headphone jack.
This phone won’t win any awards for its features, but it’s a reasonably attractive flip phone at a budget price point. It’s available now, for free on a £15 a month, two year contract. If you want it, go see Orange. They’ve got it.

3 to release INQ handset with massive Facebook integration
Continuing in 3’s long tradition of trying to shake up the established phone industry, the network is planning to launch a new phone next week called INQ. It builds on the direction that the Skypephone started, and features very close integration with social-networking behemoth Facebook.
Although info about the phone has been floating around for a little while, we’ve got the official confirmation from 3 now, and they’re holding a press event next Thursday to announce the handset. It’s a not-particularly-pretty-looking slider phone, but where it really shines is in the software. Your Facebook contacts are your phonebook. Your SMS messages are Facebook messages. IM is handled over Facebook chat…
People who know people say T-Mobile's revealing its Android phone plans on September 23
The sort of “insiders” who can’t be named or they’ll get sacked reckon that Google and T-Mobile are very, very near to announcing official facts regarding the retail arrival of a Google Android mobile.
The two companies are planning a revelation for this month, with the same undercover sources hinting that a September 23 launch date announcement is definitely possible. September 23 is, at the time of writing, 12.5 days away…
Google says Android development is proceeding as was foreseen – 2008 release IS ON
