Motorola unveils T505 Bluetooth in-car speakerphone and digital FM transmitter
Motorola has unveiled its T505 portable in-car Bluetooth speakerphone and digital FM transmitter, offering full hands-free compatibility with Bluetooth phones or MP3 players.
Stereo Bluetooth phones, such as the MOTORAZR or MOTOROKR Z6 will allow music and calls to be streamed to the car radio, while users with ordinary Bluetooth phones can use the T505 to make and receive calls over the car stereo.
The T505 features StationFinder technology which announces where the best FM connection can be found on the user’s car radio. When calls come in, the T505 automatically mutes the music and audibly announces the Caller ID.
Toshiba unveils its in-car HD DVD player
Toshiba has got together with Alpine Electronics to develop an HD DVD player for use in cars. It was shown off at last week’s Automotive Engineering Expo 2007, and should become a commercial product in 2008.
