YouTube Hits: To buy GTA IV on the Xbox 360 or PS3, that is the question…

Confused as to whether you should buy Grand Theft Auto IV on the Xbox 360 or PS3? You’re lucky you have a choice in consoles, most only have one, if that!

Still, my household is just as confused, with more arguments breaking out over this issue than whose turn it is to do the dishes that day month. Let this young Australian gamer, in the video above, guide you towards your choice, with his comical homemade video on the pros and cons of the game on each console. Failing…

Make some phat drum 'n bass mixes with the BeatEd app for Nokia S60 phones

drum-machine-nokia.jpg

Those Nokia handsets that run on the S60 OS can do anything, I’m now convinced.

The latest addition to the ‘but wait, there’s more!’ list is the rock’n’roll drum machine freeware application BeatEd, which was created by a musician so as he could play his guitar with a backing track on his mobile.

The app has 16 different drum tracks, plus 16-channel….

In need of a killer Blu-ray disc to demonstrate 1080p? Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence announced

ghost-in-the-shell-2-innocence.jpg

You’ve just bought a Blu-ray player, and want to know what’s the best film for showing off the high resolution when your mates are around?

The film I always use whenever I have friends around, and need to demonstrate the difference between HD and standard-def (I am a terrible bore), is ‘Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence’, a Japanese anime which until now has only been available in that fine country. Bandai Visual Entertainment, the company that owns the distribution rights, has announced it’s releasing the film on Blu-ray later this year, with an English dub…

Perfect present for your boozy mother, the LG 'Wine' phone

lg-wine-phone.jpg

Over in Korea, LG has shown off their ‘Wine’ phone, which unfortunately doesn’t bar you from dialing your ex’s number, offer a drunk-to-sober SMS translation service, nor cure you of your Merlot-induced hangovers the next day.

No doubt named in homage to the red wine-coloured model, it features a 2.4″ external display and 1.8″ internal one according to AVING, however by the looks of the photo above, I’d say it’s actually in reverse. Aimed at 30-40 year olds supposedly, the phone is near-on featureless, with ‘enhanced voice calling’, ‘SMS sending and receiving functionality’ listed….

How addicted are you to social networking? How addicted could you be?

web-2.0-week-time(2).jpg

You’ve got your Facebook account, only just signed up to Twitter, and have been uploading pics to Flickr since they invented the digital camera. But how much of an addict are you?

The helpful picture up above can act as a guide for anyone wanting to enter the world of social networking, by showing you just what level of interactivity you can do, for the amount of time you have. The site also claims that if you spend just 1-5 hours a week on such sites, you’re classed as a Participant, with those spending 5-10 hours a week a Content Provider, and 10-20 hours a week making you a Community Director.

Wonder what the correct term is for someone who spends 10-15 hours a day…
