RIM BlackBerry sues Motorola over patent infringement, Motorola countersues over…patent infringement
RIM’s throwing the courtcase Motorola’s way now, after exhausting the legal battle with LG over the similarity of their model names to its own ‘BlackBerry’ branding.
But, it turns out that Motorola has turned the tables on RIM and is counter-suing them. Ouch. RIM claims Motorola is copying their…
MWC 2008: Motorola handset round-up
As Gary said when he did the product announcement for Motorola earlier in the week, “their heart’s not in it”. With just three handsets officially announced, we were decidedly unimpressed.
Z6W – a Wi-Fi version of the Z6, it supports all four GSM bands, and has a 2.0-megapixel camera and microSD slot. See details here…
Won't SOMEONE put Motorola out of their misery and just buy them already!?
Motorola has been pulling a lot of those sad faces recently, with reports they’ve seen a huge 33% drop in sales in 2007 compared to 2006, and that they’re seeking a rival manufacturer to take pity on them and buy them out.
LG, however, is not interested in the slightest. Their Mobile CEO, Skott Ahn, claims the company has “never looked to buy” Motorola. Elsewhere in exciting financial news – Motorola is getting HAMMERED
So first this week we had Apple saying it’s made loads of money, then we had analysts saying Microsoft’s about to announce it’s made loads of money too. Happy days!
So where’s all this money coming from?
It’s being hacked off Motorola’s bottom line, pretty much, with the company reporting a whopping 33% drop in sales in 2007 compared to 2006, with mobile sales raking in a total of $4.8 billion…
Add another Ferrari to your collection with the Motorola Z8 mobile
Ferrari products, like your mobile phone/laptop/segway, are obviously for people who love the glamour and wealth the brand promotes, but who just can’t cough up the thousands for an actual car.
Adding to their garage of Ferrari mobiles, they’ve pimped the Motorola Z8, bundling it with The Bourne Identity, as well as…
