Boo hiss. So much for our wild speculation months ago that the rumoured Samsung Armani mobile would be the F700, or ‘Croix’, as it’s recently been branded. Concrete information, such as photos and a long string of model numbers no-one could every possibly remember have been leaked online, and we can reveal it’s simply a disappointing high-end version of their SGH-P520, a touch-screen mobile that hit tech blog headlines earlier this year…

Hug Shirt from CuteCircuit allows you to send hugs via Bluetooth

hugshirt4.jpg Bluetooth accessories for mobiles tend to revolve around Nathan Barley-esque headsets or dinky little speakers, so it’s refreshing to see a company like CuteCircuit thinking outside the box.

They’ve designed a product called Hug Shirt which pretty much does what it says on the label, with the Bluetooth sensors and actuators attached to the shirt allowing you to send a hug to a friend who’s also wearing the shirt. Palm announce new Treo 500v with Windows Mobile 6

The Treo 500v has packed 3G/UMTS mobile internet plus that lovely, if clunky, Windows Mobile 6 OS into the handset, plus the usual full qwerty keyboard, large screen and video streaming capabilities. I’m already imagining catching Trisha on one during my lunch-break…

Rumour: Sony Ericsson to unveil mobile gaming phone in February

Rumours that Sony Ericsson was planning to launch a PlayStationPhone have been bubbling for several months, fuelled by a recent interview in which the company confirmed that the idea was “something that we’re looking at”.

Well, it seems the looking may have gone well, because Mobile Entertainment is reporting that Sony Ericsson will unveil a dedicated gaming phone next February at the Mobile World Congress trade show.
