Sony officially confirms GTA IV PS3 bundle
In the UK, Microsoft is doing its damndest to make sure that the buying public remains blissfully unaware of any automobile theft on any kind of scale, grand or otherwise, on anything except the Xbox 360. Sony hasn’t really done a lot to dispel the myth – in the face of a Microsoft funded GTA IV adverts, Live points promotions and exclusive content deals, it has remained stony faced as if wondering what all the fuss is about.
But it has at last conceded that there might be something to the whole Grand Theft Auto IV thing and has officially announced a new PS3-GTA IV bundle SKU, which by the virtue of having vaguely attractive packaging, may ensure that some PS3’s will be vacating shelves come April 29th…
GTA IV creator calls for larger storage for Xbox 360 games. No, Blu-ray isn't the answer.
With Grand Theft Auto IV just a few short, unbearable days away, the Rockstar team are doing the rounds with the press. Rockstar co-founder Sam Houser has been speaking to 1Up and has been surprisingly open about the problems the game faced with the Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles…
PS3's Home delayed until… god only knows when
The public beta test of Sony’s much delayed Home online service for PS3 has been – yes, you guessed it! – delayed again. Sony has now pushed back the launch of Home’s public beta test until “Fall 2008.”
Fall, as international-travelling, jet-set readers will know, is what Americans call Autumn. So if the beta test isn’t going to be out until Autumn 2008, it’s pretty unlikely that the finished, for-everyone 3D avatar system will arrive until 2009.

Confused as to whether you should buy Grand Theft Auto IV on the Xbox 360 or PS3? You’re lucky you have a choice in consoles, most only have one, if that!
Still, my household is just as confused, with more arguments breaking out over this issue than whose turn it is to do the dishes that day month. Let this young Australian gamer, in the video above, guide you towards your choice, with his comical homemade video on the pros and cons of the game on each console. Failing…

Motley Crue to release new single via Rock Band
What is it with ageing rockers and cutting-edge music distribution schemes? Last month we revealed that Def Leppard was releasing a single via Guitar Hero III, now “The Crue” is releasing its new track exclusively via rival music game Rock Band.
Motley Crue’s single is called ‘Saints of Los Angeles’ and it’ll appear on the American Rock Band download list next Tuesday, for the equivalent of 99 cents – on both Xbox Live and Sony’s PlayStation…
Another twist in the PS3 iPlayer tale: BBC offers coder a job
Here’s a success story for any rogue independent coders out there: PS3iPlayer.com was launched over the weekend proving that the BBC iPlayer video streaming website could easily be made compatible with the PS3. We thought it would be torn down as soon as Auntie found out, but Anthony Rose, Head of Digital Media Technology at the Beeb, has instead praised the clever coder behind the website and explained why it’s taking a while to get an official version working…

Grand Theft Auto now only two weeks away… better start queuing!
Actually, even if you rush down to the shops right now you won’t be the first person on the streets to start the long countdown to the launch of Grand Theft Auto IV. That most dubious honour goes to a handful of really nutty Swedes who already started their pilgrimage last week. At the moment they’re living it large inside a small tent pitched outside their local video game store…
