Olympus Mju 1030SW – takes all you can throw at it
Guessing this is a follow-up of sorts to the Mju 1000, with the Mju 1030SW promising to take all bumps and knocks from everyday use – and more.
Fujitsu's F705i is the thinnest waterproof mobile in the world
I’m always a sucker for a good waterproof phone story, having endured the traumatic embarrassment a few years ago of getting a cameraphone in the UK when they first went on sale, boasting about it to friends at a music festival, and promptly dropping it into a full glass of wine.
CES 2008: KDDI's Sanyo W53SA waterproof digital TV mobile phone
Remember when Stuart went to Tokyo a couple of months ago, and shot a video of KDDI Communications’ W53SA mobile phone being dunked in a bowl of water? Better quickly add the waterproof W53SA. Here’s a couple of photos I…
Shiny Video Review: Overboard waterproof cases
Charlotte, Editor of our blog for extreme-sports, Nollie, has done something I could never do. She dropped her camera deliberately in a lake, simply to test exactly how waterproof the Overboard cases for gadgets really are.
The company has…
Waterproof Freeview LCD TV for your bathroom
Watching TV in the bathroom – the height of luxury. You may as well be eating truffles out of Evangeline Lilly’s belly button, it is THAT MUCH FUN.
Usually the preserve of the rich and decadent, only the finest hotels and fanciest apartments…
Korea/Japan Week: KDDI's waterproof digital TV phone that works underwater
“Who would like to watch TV while they’re in the bath?” asked a chap from Japanese operator KDDI, during his presentation this morning at the company’s Design Studio in Tokyo. Er…

Twinbird's waterproof SD ZABADY MP3 player
Singing in the shower is one of life’s greatest pleasures, even if your dulcet tones are actually one of life’s worst tortures for your neighbours. Maybe trying for the high notes in ‘All By Myself’ wasn’t such a good idea. That includes you, Mariah.
Review: Pentax Optio W20
The propaganda Pentax’s ‘W’ series cameras are built to be more rugged than other compacts; the main feature is the water and dustproof design, which protects the delicate innards against the elements as well as the more raucous variety…
CES 2007: Atlantic's GameSeal waterproof portable gaming cases
Maybe not the prettiest game case we’ve ever seen, but perhaps the most practical, Atlantic’s GameSeal has impressed the DS-users amongst us with its waterproof capabilities. They’ve added two new items to their GameKeeper range, for both the DS (old-school and Lite), and Sony’s PSP, both available for just $39.95. What’s exciting us is that unlike other cases, Atlantic’s can fit pretty much the kitchen and bathroom sink, with space for 10 UMDs, two Memory Stick Duos and charger for the PSP case, and in the DS’s instance, there’s space for 12 DS cartridges, 16 GBA games, and a muchly-needed charger. Now, if only they made a holographic one, with lasers…
CES 2007: Ego takes the iPod swimming
Alas most Brits don’t actually own outdoor swimming pools. And even if they did they’d probably end up spending more time gingerly dipping a toe in the icy water than frolicking about in the pool. So I can’t see…
